About

My name is Marlee (she/her) and I was born and raised in the East Bay area. Outside of work I love to dance, see as much live music as possible, and be in nature with friends. I am drawn to this work because it has the ability to hold the physical body and the somatic-emotional landscape simultaneously with gentle precision and openness. This practice acknowledges the whole person and all that our bodies have inherited throughout our lives. When the body is trying to tell us something, the results can be profound when we begin to listen and integrate what we learn.

I believe in an approach that centers curiosity and exploration rather than “fixing” or “extracting” some of the more complex experiences we hold in our bodies. I am grateful to have the opportunity to support people through this process, and to be a witness to the body’s capacity to heal.

It is important to me that folks who align with this practice are able to access it, and I know we are living in a time and place where it is very challenging to find affordable services that protect our sense of health and balance. Please let me know if my general rates make receiving this care inaccessible and we can discuss sliding- scale pricing and other funding opportunities.
